SET YOUR GOALS AND MAKE THINGS HAPPEN!

“In the long run, men only hit what they AIM at.” – Henry David Thoreau
There was this story of Peter and John. They are mental patients who were about to be released by the hospital because of good conduct and behavior. But before they leave, they have to pass their final interview with the Head Physician.
Peter was first to be interviewed.
Doctor: Okay Peter, tell me what would be the first thing you would do when you leave the hospital?
Peter: I will find me a pretty woman, get married and have a family of my own.
(The Doctor was impressed.)
Doctor: Wow, that’s great. Congratulations you have passed the test. You may now go home. Good luck to you.
Then it was John’s turn.
Doctor: Okay John, tell me what would be the first thing you would do when you leave the hospital?
John: I will find myself a stone and garter then I will try to hit the moon!!!!!
(The Doctor was shocked.)
Doctor: Sorry John, I can’t let you go. I think you need to stay around here and get some more rest and treatment.
John felt so sad. He slowly walks back to his room thinking what he said wrong. Then he saw Peter who was about to leave, he quickly went up to him and asked what he said to the Doctor that allowed him to go home. Peter said, “I just told him that when I leave the hospital the first thing I would do is to find myself a pretty woman and get married and have a family of my own.
John said, “Is that so?
Peter replied, “Yes that is all I said.
So as they bade each other farewell. John had an idea. He will just memorize what Peter said, so that in the next interview, he will surely pass the test. John got excited.
After thirty days, there was again another set of candidates that are allowed to go home and John was one of them. He was very eager to be interviewed knowing that he now knows what to say this time since he had practice his script every day.
When his turn came up, he was again asked by the same doctor, the same question.
Doctor: Hi John! Tell me now, what would be the first thing you would like to do, once you’re released from the hospital?
John quickly said, “I will find me a beautiful woman, get married and have a family of my own.
Doctor: That’s great John! Congratulations! You have passed your final test!
As the Doctor was about to sign Johns release, he realize he still has plenty of time. So he asked John more questions.
Doctor: So tell me John, what would you do after your wedding day?
John was so surprised because he was not prepared for more questions. So he mumbled, “well I….. I would then take her ummmahhh to our honeymoon!
Doctor: (curiously asked) “Okay, then what will you do next?
John said, “Well once were alone in our room, I……I… I would slowly undress her.
Doctor: “Okay, and then what?”
John: “I will take off her underwear!
Doctor: (now really curious) “Then what will you do next?
John: I would slowly and passionately take her bra and then ….. And then use the garter and look for a stone so that I will try hitting the MOON!!!!
Doctor: Aaaackkk! (e di wow!)
Moral: Even mental patients have goals!
So if you are a normal person with a sound mind, you should set your goals too!

The battle is half won when you have the habits of setting and achieving goals.

set your goals
You have to be pro-active in setting goals, because if you don’t you will be beholden to the goals of other people. Other people, circumstances or events would take control of your life. They would manipulate how you think, how you act, how you dress, what income you would make, what car would you drive, what type of house you would live in.
Take our strong advice; take back what is rightly yours. Be the driver of your life.
There is a song by Doris Day entitled “Whatever will be, will be. (Que sera sera).” This is the song of the poor and middle class people. When you ask them, “What is your financial goal this year?” They would answer, “Que sera, sera.” Ask them, what is your plan in succeeding in your work or business?” They would answer, “Que sera, sera.”
But if you look inside their bank accounts, guess what’s inside? You are right, “Que sera, sera.”
You have to be smarter than that.

Start Today

start today
If you start now, you will start seeing results one day earlier than if you wait until tomorrow. If you want to succeed in AIM Global business, start by setting goals for yourself. If you have a hard time knowing what goals to set, here are some of the few guideline that you could start with.
1. How many products can you share each month? – As we have said in our earlier articles, if you want to have a healthy organization, you need to maintain at least 10-20 customers that can buy from you on a monthly basis. The income you could earn here could be enough to sustain your daily allowance such as food, travel expense, etc.
2. How many people can you sponsor? – As a networking business it is a must that you have a network, and the only way to do that is by setting a goal of how many number of people, as personal invite can you sponsor to join our business. It is not enough to go on a Que sera, sera mode or more popularly know to Pinoys as “Bahalana” mode.
Picture this:
In our Stairstep Marketing Plan
As a Global Ambassador you get:
  • - 30% overrides to all your distributor downlines.
  • - 20% overrides to all your silver executive downlines.
  • - 10% overrides to all your gold executive downlines.
  • -5% overrides to all your Global Ambassador downlines up to the 5th level.
This is not to mention all your earnings you get from the Retailing, Binary and Unilivel Marketing Plans. In the example above, have you noticed that there are earnings in every level of your organization. Now do you realize what is in store for you when you learn how to set and achieve your goals.
Great rewards, amazing benefits awaits for you.

A goal is a dream with a deadline.

How to set goals?
how to set goals?
1. Do it with speed. – If you are not a member yet, do whatever it takes so that you can join the business right away. There is a great saying that, “A year from now, you would wish you started today.” Take that statement in your heart.
If you are now a member, work on the business every day. Sponsor people every day. Talk to people every day. Speed is essential in order to move something to one place to another. An airplane needs speed to fly. A car needs speed to move.
Similarly if you want your network to be big, you need to have this sense of urgency, otherwise you would find yourself stuck years after with no results to offer. And then you have the gall to tell other people that network marketing isn’t true. What’s not true is that you did not work on the business, the way it should be done. You just bought your Global Package and let it sit in your living room to gather dust.
Be different.
2. Set big goals. – The hardest thing about setting small, teeny weeny, itsy bitsy, tiny polka dot bikini goals is that it is so small that it gets too hard to hit them.
Change your style and create bigger and gigantic goals. It’s much easier to target, you might not hit it directly but you would surely hit something.
Set a goal to become a Global Ambassador in one year. If you fail at least you might get promoted to Gold Executive.
Set a goal to hit the Profit Sharing award, if you fail, at least you have bigger savings or might get promoted to Global Ambassador.
Don’t just set goals like making 25% commission because you were able to sell one box of C-24/7, or maybe you set a goal so small like selling just one sachet of our liven coffee. If you fail on that, we may no longer see you again because you already quit.

Your goals can change you.

your goals can change you
Our dear friends and business partners, life in AIM Global gets more exciting because you can see that we don’t just teach you how to sell, how to sponsor or how to recruit. We actually teach you the game of life. What you learn here can be applied to almost every area of your life.
In the end, it is not the money that comes in that is important; it is what happens to you in creating that money that is important. Best-selling author Jim Rohn said it best when he said, “The ultimate reason for setting goals is to entice you into becoming the better person it takes to achieve them.
We believe it is true. It is not the recognition or the reward that is important, it is becoming the better you, the one who is disciplined, committed and courageous you that have come out in achieving them.
Set your goals!
Happy Networking!
